Busanga Bushcamp is set on the Busanga Plains in northern Kafue, an area renowned for its very wide range of antelopes and other herbivores and the lions that prey on them. The rustic and intimate camp lies hidden in a small tree island and has 4 well-appointed en-suite tents each with a veranda and hanging chair to take in the sweeping views. A simple open-fronted lounge and dining area under canvas nestles beneath sausage and fig trees. In front is a campfire area with views over the surrounding plains. The camp is at ground level adding to the feeling of being at one with the landscape although there is also a slightly raised viewing platform from which to take in the plains or enjoy a sunset gin and tonic. Activities include vehicle safari, seasonal balloon safari (between August and October), walking safari and night vehicle safari.
