Overview
The Desert & The Cape itinerary gives an amazing Namibia experience with 3 nights at Little Kulala. One of the main attractions here is Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by towering rust-coloured dunes. You will take a hot air balloon ride to enjoy it from another perspective. You then head to a private game reserve for another side of the desert. Omaanda is a luxurious finish to your stay in Namibia and one private savannah drive is included in your time here.
Next, you are off to Cape Town. Some cities boast rich culture, vibrant nightlife, a cosmopolitan atmosphere and extraordinary architecture, while others boast breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary natural wonders. Cape Town has all of these attractions and more! You will have a luxury vehicle for your 2 days activities in Cape Town which include a peninsula and a Winelands tour. Enjoy exploring, eating great cuisine, soaking up the culture and shop a bit if it takes your fancy.
Day 1-3. Little Kulala, Kulala Wilderness Reserve
You will be met at Hosea Kutako International Airport (Windhoek) and fly to Little Kulala.
- Little Kulala has 11 luxury climate-controlled, thatched units (including 1 family unit) are inspired by its timeless desert setting.
- Each unit has a private plunge pool and a 'star bed' on the upper floor for the ultimate romantic experience, while ceiling to floor windows give you unimpeded views.
- The camp has a private access gate to the Namib-Naukluft National Park and Sossusvlei.
- Here you will be able to visit the iconic red dunes of the oldest desert in the world, hop off the vehicle and walk amongst 400-year-old trees. Activities on offer are trips to Sossusvlei, nature drives, walks and eco-sensitive quad biking.
- Enjoy an incredible balloon safari that will see you soaring above the desert scenery before enjoying a sumptuous champagne breakfast in the dunes.
Day 4-6. Omaanda, Animal Conservancy Area near Windhoek
At a time to be advised by the camp management, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your circuit light aircraft transfer from Little Kulala to Hosea Kutako International Airport (Windhoek). You will then take a private road transfer from Hosea Kutako International Airport (Windhoek) to Omaanda.
- Omaanda Lodge is a 5-star property on a large private reserve on the outskirts of Windhoek. The unique lodge has traditionally crafted spacious huts inspired by traditional Owambo architecture.
- The huts have king-sized beds, walk-in dressing room, walk-in rain shower, double-sided fireplace, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, soundbar with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and Nespresso machines. They are luxurious.
- The lodge also has a restaurant, a heated infinity pool, a spa with 2 treatment rooms and a boma and a fantastic location in the wild, yet close to the city.
- The area is known for its scenic savanna-covered landscapes inhabited by a vast variety of wildlife. Commonly spotted species include leopard, giraffe, warthog, antelope, ostrich and jackal. It is also home to the Shiloh Wildlife Sanctuary which provides a refuge for injured rhinos and elephants.
- Enjoy a very personal experience & get close to the reserve’s wildlife on a private ‘Savannah Watch’ tour. The exceptional skills and knowledge of our guides will make this tour a unique experience. Drinks and snacks to your individual taste will further enhance the experience on a culinary level.
Day 7-9. More Quarters, Cape Town
Private road transfer from Omaanda to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your scheduled flight to Cape Town. You will be met at Cape Town Airport and take a private road transfer to More Quarters.

- Each room has an individual appeal and charm. All feature a spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom, TV lounge and kitchenette making the perfect home away from home. 4 family rooms include a second en-suite bedroom.
- Many of Cape Town’s best restaurants, bars, and boutique shops are within walking distance and complimentary daily-scheduled transfers are provided within a 6km (radius of the hotel.
- Children of all ages are welcome at More Quarters Hotel with amenities, like cots and highchairs, available t and a childminding service on offer to keep children amused and out of mischief, while parents take some ‘me-time’.
- Activities included are a private full-day peninsula tour which takes you to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Boulders Penguin Colony, Chapman’s Peak Drive and on a tour of Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden and a private full-day Winelands tour inclusive of wine tastings, a cellar tour, the Stellenbosch Museum, Afrikaans Language Monument and the Huguenot Memorial Museum.
Day 10. Departure
Today you will be transferred by private road transfer from More Quarters to Cape Town International Airport for your onward departing flight.

- Accommodation taxes, the applicable Tourism Levies and all relevant Value Added Tax (VAT) or Government Sales Tax (GST).

- Any scheduled commercial flights and related taxes;

- Visa fees where relevant. Should a visa payment be required, this will need to be made in US Dollar cash. Change is often not provided and thus the exact amounts payable are essential (with small denominations encouraged for easier and quicker transactions). Travellers Cheques and credit cards are not usually accepted for this purpose;
- Departure Taxes are excluded on all light aircraft transfers in Zambia and Zimbabwe. Applicable at manned airports only, these taxes are to be paid directly in cash on departure, unless included in your air ticket cost;
- All taxes are subject to change without prior notice;
- Zambia Airport Departure Taxes: may be paid in US Dollars or Kwacha, the local currency. Kwacha amounts may vary depending on the rate of exchange on the day – the below are guidelines only. Note that credit cards and Travellers Cheques are not accepted forms of payment for this purpose.
- On International flights: Departure tax, security tax and infrastructure & development tax - US$40.00 per person; Passenger Safety Charge - US$ 10.00 per person

- Zimbabwe Airport Departure Taxes: paid in US Dollars only and in cash. Currently, and subject to change, these taxes are as follows:
