The Royal Zambezi Lodge is often described as where luxury meets the wild. The lodge provides wonderful comfort without being ostentatious. With 15 rooms it is one of the larger lodges in the area, great if you have a group. Royal Zambezi is an outstanding family destination. The presidential suites are spectacular and very spacious for a family of 4. It is located in a  game management area just outside of the National Park, however, the game is excellent and at the water holes and hide you can see lions, buffalo, elephants and more. The lodge is beautifully set overlooking the river and the opulent rooms are spacious with amazing views. A private plunge pool at each tent is a wonderful way to cool off after a morning or afternoon of safari drives. Each day you have the option of jumping on a boat, canoeing, taking a walking safari, fishing or a game drive or a combination of the above.
