Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp lies in a remote area of the Kaokoveld, with gravel-strewn plains and dry riverbeds that draw wildlife. The solar-powered camp has 8 large and utterly luxurious en-suite ‘tents’, including a family tent look out through floor to ceiling windows over stunning, starkly beautiful scenery. The main area and pool look out over a wide, rugged valley that slopes down to the almost-always dry Hoanib River. Trips to desert oases give the chance to see wildlife coming to drink, game drives showcase the magnitude of the landscape and desert-adapted wildlife and on stays of 3 or more nights, excursions to the Skeleton Coast and seal colonies are offered.
