Chiawa Safaris are a  family owned and operated group of 4 camps, 2 within the Lower Zambezi National Park. These two lodges ‘Chiawa’ and ‘Old Mondoro’ offer an authentic safari safari. All camps in this portfolio are certified carbon neutral.

The luxurious Chiawa Camp is set along the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The camp has 9 safari ‘tents’  on raised wooden decks. En-suite facilities include a bath, indoor & outdoor shower and his & hers washbasins. One room is larger and ideal for honeymooners, families or anyone looking for extra space, luxury and privacy. It has a king bedroom, a lounge that converts into a second bedroom for families and a large deck with a dining area, lounge, private pool and outdoor shower. Chiawa offers game drives, game walks, canoeing, boating and angling accompanied by excellent guides.  Animals wander freely in and out of the camp. Chiawa is known for night drives in which they use only red lights so as not to disturb the animals, resulting in wonderful sightings. It also has a lovely pool and gym overlooking the Zambezi, 2 viewing hides and 2 viewing platforms for guests enjoyment.
