Nosy Komba

Beautiful beaches, stunning wildlife, and rich culture

Madagascar

Madagascar wows with its wildlife, and 80% of species are endemic to the island, providing an extraordinary opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts. Nosy Komba is a small, densely vegetated circular island off the northwest coast of Madagascar, between Nosy Be and the main island.

At Nosy Komba the forest is home to a multitude of tropical and endemic plant and animal species and is particularly known for its habituated black lemurs. The white sand beaches are caressed by turquoise water and frequented by sea turtles and tropical fish.

Enjoy excursions to view the lemurs, hiking, snorkelling, scuba diving, whale and whale shark watching, boat trips, and fishing. Whale sharks are in the waters between September and December, and humpback whales can be on the western side of the island from the months of August to November. With its beautiful beaches, stunning wildlife, and rich culture, Nosy Komba is the perfect place to unwind, explore, and experience something new.
