Tena Tena is an intimate camp in the exclusive Nsefu area of South Luangwa National Park. The rustic and simple camp nestles under a magnificent grove of mahogany trees. Each of the 6 rooms enjoys a private view onto a long stretch of the Luangwa River. The en-suite bathrooms are spacious and open to the elements, with each uniquely designed to merge with nature and curved walls moulded around the trees.  Hekaya recommends this camp for its authentic African feeling and excellent location. The main area is around a large termite mound and ancient mahogany tree. Several seating areas let you relax and enjoy Luangwa. The wildlife viewing from camp is excellent and meals are taken overlooking the hippo pools. Activities include bird watching, guided game drives and walks, enjoying the game viewing hide and night safaris.
