Shipwreck Lodge is located in the Skeleton Coast Central Concession Area between the Hoarusib and Hoanib rivers. The lodge has 10 luxury cabins including 2 family chalets nestled between the beach dunes. The lodge is architecturally styled after a shipwreck and offers the perfect place from which to enjoy the beauty of the solitary landscape that surrounds it. The innovative design is certainly ‘Instagram worthy’ and an attraction in itself. Each room has a shower, toilet and washbasin, a writing desk, coffee and tea station and a wood-burning stove. Among the activities on offer are bird watching, fishing, trips to nearby geological formations, searching for desert elephants and lions, quad biking and guided walks.
