Serra Cafema is in the remote extreme north-west of Namibia. The luxurious lodge has 8 en-suite villas raised on wooden decks in a belt of rich, riverine forest overlooking the Kunene River and Angola. The riverine environment is an oasis in the arid desert and rugged mountains surrounding it and offers a surreal retreat. Each spacious room has a lounge area, an en suite bathroom and private veranda. Large glass doors give stunning views. Activities are boating on the river through the lush riverside oases, exploring the dunes by vehicle, quad bike or on foot, visiting the semi-nomadic Himba tribespeople.
