Old Mondoro is an intimate and rustic bush camp with just 6 comfortable rooms including 1 family unit in a remote area of Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park, meaning you will see few if any other visitors. The camp has views of the Zambezi River and several reed islands which are often frequented by feeding elephants. The area has excellent game viewing and is a great habitat for walking safaris with good visibility. The rooms have half-height reed walls and timber decks to make the most of the views. Outdoor baths offer spectacular opportunities for game viewing. Activities focus on game drives, walks, canoeing and boating with excellent guiding. Delicious meals are served fireside or in the open-sided thatched dining room.
