Kwessi Dunes Lodge has 12 quirky thatch chalets, including 2 family chalets in the midst of the NamibRand Reserve. The rooms are airconditioned and a stand out feature is a second unroofed bedroom from where you can view the stars from your comfortable bed. Each chalet has an ensuite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers and a shaded veranda. The view from the main lodge is spectacular and central facilities are a well-stocked bar, library area and several lounge and dining areas. The swimming pool overlooks distant mountain ranges and a remote desert atmosphere is found throughout. Activities on offer include nature drives and walks, horse riding, quad biking, hot air ballooning, Sossusvlei trips and watching desert-adapted wildlife from the lodge itself.
